Water 4 Dogs is the first state-of-the-art animal rehabilitation center in New York City. This new center, located at 77 Worth Street between Church and Broadway, boasts two Ferno underwater treadmills and a custom-made swimming pool all in a room with an overhead lift system that can electronically support and carry any size dog into any part of the room. Water 4 Dogs also provides day care and boarding for dogs receiving rehabilitation services, senior dogs, and dogs that need a more quiet and subdued environment.

Water 4 Dogs is Jodi Richard's second incarnation of an animal rehabilitation center. The first center, known as Bonnie's K9 Corp, was inspired by Bonnie, her German Shepherd Dog that suffered from a ruptured disc. After Bonnie's injury, Jodi started studying various forms of exercise to help Bonnie recover from her injury and surgery. In her research for the best type of exercise, she studied and was certified in myofascial release, Reiki massage, and hydro-rehabilitation techniques. After learning these techniques, Jodi started working with other dogs in March 1998. Bonnie's K9 Corp was the first company to make hydro-rehabilitation available to dogs on the east coast.
